It represents the journey that aspirants make when embarking their chosen spiritual road. It features the undergrowth and entanglements that have to be overcome when beginning ones journey. Then there are dark rocks representing the negative aspects of the persona that may be the cause of suffering and harm. | Star Born, Painting by Geoffrey treissman.
After returning from a month in hospital suffering from heart failure, and my fourth near death experience, I was unable to paint for a year. Gradually my health improved sufficiently to work on an idea that i had mulled over for ages. This concerned the energies involved with the creation and substance of the material universe and our relationship with the birth of stars & planets. I have tried to convey the feeling of our interconnectedness with the universe and the birth of higher consciousness, creativity and the emergence of the new.

When unhappy as a child I would go for a walk and look up at the night sky and talk to the stars knowing that they understood my troubles. Now as an adult in my mid seventies I am convinced that we are not alone in the universe. The three golden visitors are depicted on a mission to observe the expansion of the universe and the largest of these generates a lifeline that could be linked to manner from heaven for those open to receive the subtle mystical properties, which help to raise our consciousness and inspire us to develop a greater understanding of why we are here. These golden vehicles are not fabricated from metals or materials, but are formed by the cosmic minds of beings that may be likened to angels.
